This says a lot about what’s happening to Europe

In Germany, the police will chase down and detain a young boy for waving a Palestine flag.

And yet, this is Frankfurt. I live in La Paz, Mexico, which is sort of an anomaly, there’s more of a middle class here than in most of Mexico, but this sort of thing would never be tolerated here.

In fact, the police patrol with huge guns mounted into the back of trucks. It was slightly unsettling at first, but you get used to it, and I’m glad they’e there.
